Macintosh Include File

The Macintosh Version of POV-Ray uses a single text file for the Template Menu, and it is completely customizable, if you follow a few simple rules. What you want to do is copy the text from the Mac template file on this page into the POV-Ray 3 Templates file which is in the PPC Application folder. (I use MacMegaPov but point it to this file for consitency.)

Open this file with a text editor and go to the end of the document. You should see:

@com.end of file is next
@@@@

Paste the contents of the template file before these two lines and restart POV-Ray (Or have MacMegaPov reload the template file). You should have a new item at the bottom of the menu for the new template file.
