On a Sunday afternoon in May of 1994, I had tickets to go see Crowded House with Sheryl Crow opening. I was strolling through NW Portland enjoying the Sunday sunshine, when I remembered that Sheryl was playing an promotional acoustic show at a local record store. I bought some film for my camera and headed in that direction. * Sheryl Crow name I was there early, and I'm glad I was, as the crowd was amazingly large. Her music was not that well known at the time. The single "Leaving Las Vegas" had just been released at the time. "All I Wanna Do" had not. I kind of loitered around as she signed items for others, and took pictures and asked questions. Someone handed her a copy of a review of her album as well as a preview of her show that evening. I have those somewhere, but I seem to have misplaced them. If I find them, I'll post them. The reviews were quite good.
