For Sale The places on the Internet to find Del Amitri items. |
|
Esprit International Ltd. is UK based, although they have an office in Seattle Washington. Becoming outrageously priced. A recent offer was for £255 for a cd single! Most of their stuff goes fast, so if you want it, order it the moment you see it. Very reputable.
Southland CD is US based. Normally, they offer cd singles as "package" deals. (i.e. both copies of Cry To Be Found for one low price)
Brouhaha is a California based mail order music store. They advertise regularly in GOLDMINE and DISCOVERY collectors magazines. Their catalog lists alot of items, but most seem to be out of stock when I've called. But, prices are reasonable when they do have them.
CDNow is a "mainstream" US based Internet music store. You'll see their ads all over the Internet. Their reputation is reputable.
MusicBoulevard is another "mainstream" US based Internet based music store. You see their ads all over the Internet. Their reputation is also reputable.
MusicSales is UK based store. They sell sheet music and stuff for you obsessive collectors/musicians out there.
CD Europe, is a store in Florida. They claim to be able to order stuff from all over the world, and they have plenty of stuff in their catalogue. The only place on the Internet I've seen Del Amitri mini-discs offered! Have not received good feedback from customers.
World Party Music is a US based store, but good for imports too. Staff is helpful and prompt, and are Del Amitri knowledgable. Pre-orders available.
And here are some others:
http://www.opalmusic.com/ Prices are a bit high, but, like Esprit, they get some good stuff in.
http://www.rockofa.demon.co.uk/ Not a BIG Dels store, but occasionally has items.
http://www.vinyltap.com: Based in Leeds, they generally have SOME Dels in stock.
http://tunnelrecords.com/ is a store in Florida. They do not have a good reputation. They fill some orders, and others don't seem to get filled. All without explanation. Order with caution.
http://www.keymailorder.com is based in Surrey. They have occasionally had Dels items. Worth taking a look at.
http://www.pushposters.demon.co.uk is a poster shop in Scotland. If you have a hole in your bedroom wall that needs covering, or maybe just a nasty stain, this place'll do ya up right!
http://users.dircon.co.uk/~reckless/ is a collectors shop. They occasionally have items in, but until the Dels get more and more collectible...
http://www.cdzone.co.uk is another on-line cd store specializing in new releases.
Amazon Music is the music desk of Amazon Books. Good for imports into the US of the UK releases. Plus, their service is beyond compare.
It's sometimes cheaper to order UK singles directly from the UK, especially
if they aren't going to be released in North America. HMV has a "direct"
order line in England and although they tend to screw up alot of orders
their prices are pretty reasonable and they're nice on the phone. You can
also pre-order new releases so that they send them out to you on the day of
the release. Don't bother calling until about a week before the release
date though or they won't do it. From US or Canada, call
011-44-990-334-578. From the UK, call 0990-334-578
