Everyone knows the story of The Beatles. I have nothing new to contribute to the legacy, except my own memories. And those are of little interest to anyone except me on a rainy Sunday afternoon!

I do, however have some photographs. These are photographs I bought from the original photographer, who maybe, was down on his luck, but not down enough to sell the copyrights to these very impressive and important photographs.

The photographs were taken on an August night in 1966, in Los Angeles California. Two days before the Beatles final performance in San Francisco.

The photographers name is Chuck Boyd. Where he is now I haven't a clue, but in 1988 he was in Portland Oregon. He was selling reprints from a restaurant in Northwest Portland.

My girlfriend at the time, ordered a print of George Harrison for me, as he was currently riding the waves of success with Cloud Nine.

I then went and ordered several more, as the price was right, and my appetite was ravenous for original artwork. I never got the opportunity to order any more.

As far as I'm aware, these are previously un-published photographs. I don't know the history of them, but I can say I haven't seen many photographs from the penultimate live performance of The Beatles.

But I have some.

Mr. Boyd, if you're out there, please contact me. I'd like to purchase more!!!
