Stone Double-Flared Plugs

Here are our latest acquisitions of stone jewelry. These plugs rock!
Technically, most shown here are minerals, whereas some, such as lapis, tiger's iron, and unakite,
consist of several different types of minerals and are thus considered to be rocks instead.

*taper flare green black jade ear plugs zoomorphic body designs jewelry*

Green and black jade plugs with 'reverse taper' style flares.
Solid plumeria shapes, and hollow lotus, sunflower, and square tibet shapes are available, in 00ga to 7/8".
The measurement is in the center of the taper, and the back flare is 1/16" larger than that.
However, it is likely the lobe will slip towards the front, smallest side of the taper, which is smaller than the listed measurement (by around 1/32" on average). This effectively makes these have larger flares than normal, and may cause some shrinkage. One option is to wear an o-ring up against the front flare to prevent slipping up to the smallest side of the taper (click here for an image of these plugs mounted with o-rings). These would be most suitable if a wearer is well-healed at a particular size and has some flexibility. The carving and polish on these are phenomenal, at a price that cannot be beat. You just can't find plugs of this caliber on the market today!

We are open to selling all of these at one time to one person/company/wholesaler/shop.
There are around 40 pairs total. Please give a call if these might be of interest as a whole.
We are willing to sell them as individual pairs as well... Non-bulk wholesale prices are:
00ga - $30/pair (green lotuses, sunflowers, and tibets; black plumerias and lotuses),
7/16" - $40/pair (green lotuses and sunflowers; black tibets*),
1/2" - $45/pair (green plumerias; black tibets),
9/16" - $50/pair (green lotuses, sunflowers, and tibets; black plumerias and lotuses*),
5/8" - $55/pair (green plumerias and sunflowers; black plumerias),
3/4" - $65/pair (green sunflowers and tibets; black tibets),
7/8" - $70/pair (green lotuses and sunflowers; black lotuses).

All have currently SOLD. We do plan to have a few more pairs in these sizes carved down.

To check out bracelets made entirely out of one piece of stone, or bracelets made of out stone beads, please visit our brand new bracelets page, or our newly acquired page. We can also get jade dice.
Thanks, and enjoy!

Note: Some stones may be manmade or treated.
These include, but are not limited to: hematite (possibly manmade, aka hemalyke); agate and jade (just a few are dyed, as indicated); carnelian (possibly heat treated); citrine (probably heat treated); quartz (possibly lab grown); onyx (dyed); turquoise (may be stabilized with wax or resin, or dyed); and goldstone (manmade, copper in glass). Also, shells can by heat-treated, irradiated, bleached, or dyed.

Many stones consist of minerals that naturally include metals such as copper, iron, or aluminum.

Obsidian is volcanic glass that is usually black; thin sections are often translucent grey. It can have an very subtle greenish tint, but generally does not. Mahogany obsidian has a brown and black spotted appearance. Snowflake obsidian is black with grey spots. There are gold sheen, silver sheen, and rainbow sheen obsidians, which exhibit chatoyancy in these colors at certain angles of light.
Obsidian is never blue, transparent gold, or whitish opalescent colored.

Opals contain water and can develop crazing (a network of tiny surface fractures)
if they become too dry or are exposed to intense light or heat.

Some stones, such as amethyst, may fade in sunlight.
