SURPRISE!!! I stood there at the door like a goon thinking "why are all of these people here?" and simultaneously rolling over in my head "SURPRISE!? . . . surprise for who?" I literally turned to Amy and think I actually mouthed those exact words to her.
Guess it worked, you guys!! Friends & families turned out in force tonight for a big send-off shindig for our trip and my B'Day. I think I was too shocked at the party to drink it all in . . .
Now I sit here typing and I'm pretty overwhelmed by it all. We're truly lucky to have such great friends . . .
