These are the instructions for configuring Windows Vista to connect via dial-up to SpiritOne.
- Click on the Windows button and select Connect To
- From the Show drop-down menu, choose Dial-up and VPN.
- Click on Set up a connection or network.
- Choose Connect to the Internet.
- Hit Next.
- Select Dial-up.
- In the Dial-up phone number field, type the correct phone number for your area code and city, found at the top of this page.
- In the User name box, type your entire SpiritOne or Aracnet email address in all lower-case letters.
- In the Password field, type your SpiritOne password.
- Check the Remember Password box.
- In the Connection name box, type "SpiritOne."
- Hit Connect.
- At this point, if your phone line is available and everything is plugged in correctly, you'll be connected to the Internet. If you're unable to connect, you'll see the following screen.
- Select Set up the connection anyway.
- Hit Close.
- That should do it! Your computer is now configured to connect to SpiritOne via a dial-up connection.
