Each commited partner makes a one-year commitment to serve as ally and adviser to an at-risk young person who has been recommended through his or her school and has chosen to participate. After a careful screening and training process, each adult committed partner is matched to a youth. The commited partner agrees to weekly contact with their youth, including regular face-to-face meetings and excursions, as well as attending CPY meetings and events together. Yearly events include an intensive week long launch course, retreats, workshops, celebrations and, at the end of the program, a graduation ceremony.
Working with teachers, classmates, family and friends, Committed Partners for Youth (CPY) surrounds young people with reliable support in the struggle to change old behaviors and discover new, positive directions for themselves.

- Whatever your resources, CPY has an opportunity for you to make a difference. Behind every committed partner are five dedicated volunteers performing the countless tasks that make this vital program work.
As A Financial Partner- From training to graduation, it takes approximately $3,500 per youth to provide each year-long cycle of the program. CPY's support comes entirely from personal and corporate contributions and charitable grants -- and the results demonstrate that it's money well invested.
